During a performance at Wembley Stadium on Friday (June 26), Harry Styles experienced a scare when he choked on water while attempting his signature "whale" spit move. The incident occurred amid a record-breaking heatwave in the U.K., with temperatures soaring to 97 degrees Fahrenheit. Styles, 32, was performing his hit song "As It Was" when he accidentally inhaled water and fell to the stage floor.

Fan videos circulating on social media captured the moment when Styles grabbed a bottle of water, took a sip, and then spat it out in a high arc. However, the move went awry, and he collapsed onto his back, struggling to catch his breath.

The incident sparked concern among fans, with many expressing alarm on social media. One fan commented, "Oh HELL no! He was struggling for REAL real," while another questioned the absence of stage crew intervention. Despite the scare, Styles managed to recover and continued his performance the following night.

People reported that the extreme heat contributed to the severity of the incident, as Styles' shirt was visibly soaked with sweat. The heatwave had broken temperature records in the U.K., with the Met Office issuing warnings about potential health effects.

Styles is currently in the midst of his 12-night "Together, Together" residency at Wembley Stadium. After completing his London shows on July 4, he is scheduled to perform in São Paulo, Brazil, and Mexico City before heading to the United States for a series of concerts at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
