Harry Styles gave fans an unforgettable moment during the final night of his Wembley Stadium run, taking time to publicly thank his former One Direction bandmates in a heartfelt speech that left the crowd roaring. During his "Together, Together" tour, Styles reflected on his journey from boy-band superstardom to selling out one of the world's most iconic venues.
He said, "I wouldn't be on this stage if it wasn't for four friends of mine that were a massive part of this journey." He thanked Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, and his "dear friend Liam."
Styles' gratitude extended beyond his bandmates, as he thanked his sister Gemma, who brought him to London for his X Factor audition 16 years ago. He also acknowledged his mother Anne for her support, recalling how she signed him up for the show without his knowledge. The concert marked a record-breaking run at Wembley, surpassing Coldplay's 10 shows and Taylor Swift's eight.
The night was filled with nostalgia, as Styles' set included nods to his One Direction days. The string section played a medley featuring clips of the group’s hits 'Night Changes' and 'History.' Styles also paid tribute to the late artist David Hockney, whose painting of Styles was displayed at the National Portrait Gallery in 2023. He shared a quote from Hockney on the big screens, emphasizing the importance of sharing experiences through art.
The concert was part of Styles' tour to promote his latest album, 'Kiss All the Time. Disco Occasionally.' The tour will continue with stops in São Paulo, Mexico City, New York City, Melbourne, and Sydney.
