Things got a bit heated during a recent Jessie J performance, so much so that the singer had to step in and kick out some rowdy fans starting a fight.
The British singer, 38, was in the middle of performing at the Party in the Paddock festival near London on August 15 when a fight seemingly broke out in the crowd, per People. According to videos shared online, Jessie attempted to quell the tensions from the stage and admonished those who were fighting, especially in front of children also in attendance.
"This is alcohol and ego, just calm down," she said. "To argue, to waste time about it [...] especially hitting people. Come on now, in front of children. Absolutely not."
The "Price Tag" musician again tried to calm the fighting fans who were "seeing red," encouraging them to "be kind, be a good person" and that "if someone else is being [aggressive], don't join them [because] there's no point. However, when that didn't work, she asked for them to be removed from the crowd so the other fans can enjoy the show.
"So many people have spent money on this show to see me, so can you just get rid of them so we can carry on?" she said, to the crowd's cheers. "People have been waiting hours to see us. Just taken them out, get them an Uber, I'll pay for it. Take them out, please, thank you so much."
