RAYE is holding out for love before dropping her next album.

During a recent appearance on the Today show's Citi Summer Concert Series, RAYE joked she is "on strike" from making her third studio album, which she plans to name And Then She Fell in Love, per People. Given the album's planned title, the British singer claims she won't record the project until she actually does fall in love.

"I'm on strike, basically. I'm on strike from making an album until I fall in love basically," she said. "Because, do you know what it is? I've written so many songs. Picture this: I've been a songwriter for a really long time and your perspective... my perspective has largely just been, 'This didn't work out or this sucks or I'm alone. My ex that time, or my ext that time.' So I'm just very bored of that perspective."

The "WHERE IS MY HUSBAND!" musician doubled down on her views when asked whether she won't "put out another album until [she finds] Mr. Right," replying, "I'm hard-set. It could be 10 years, guys." Until then, she is simply along for the ride for whatever life brings her.

"I'm just really excited to find another project," she said, "see what happens in life and just enjoy the twists and turns, do all that stuff."

RAYE's comments come moths after she said she was "tired of writing songs" about being single or "this guy done me wrong." She recently sparked romance rumors with Michael B. Jordan when they were seen together on rides at Six Flags in Los Angeles, but a sources at the time said they were just friends and working together professionally.
