Jennifer Aniston is keeping Dolly Parton's memory alive by sharing some words of wisdom from the late icon.
The Friends actress, 57, spoke at the 92nd Street Y in New York City on Wednesday (September 2) to help celebrate her boyfriend Jim Curtis' new book The Book of Possibility when she was asked about the best advice she has to give. For her answer, she paid tribute to her "dear friend" Parton, who she collaborated with on the 2018 movie Dumplin'., per People.
"She would say, 'I chased a few rainbows and I caught some and I caught a few,'" Aniston said. "So I would just go chase your dreams and go catch some rainbows. Chase rainbows."
Parton died at 80 on Tuesday following a "brief battle" with cancer. Her family confirmed that the country music legend, actress and philanthropist had passed away, with her nephew Bryan Seaver sharing a message to her Instagram on behalf of the family as well as a tribute to the late icon honoring her legacy.
"A rhinestone life that shone bright enough for the world to see, Dolly will forever stand as an inspiration not only through her timeless music and prolific songwriting, but also her wit, warmth, and kindness that made us all feel like family," the post states. "Dolly Parton's legacy is one of love, compassion, and resilience."
