Alix Earle and Ashtin Earle are sharing their thoughts on some of the most highly-debated topics for people who grew up in New Jersey.
Alix, 25, and Ashtin, 23, joined fellow New Jerseyans Kevin Jonas, Joe Jonas and Nick Jonas on the September 8 episode of their Hey Jonas! podcast where they all weighed in on some controversial hometown issues, such as whether Central Jersey really exists and the ongoing Pork Roll versus Taylor Ham debate.
When Nick asked if the sisters and Earle Meets World stars "believe if there's such a thing as Central Jersey or it's just northern South Jersey," they quickly explained why they are in the camp for its existence.
"We are from Central Jersey. Yes, it exists," she said. When Nick said he "stopped keeping track" of when North Jersey become Philadelphia, she added, "That's the problem I think. I think people in Central Jersey don't want to be North Jersey and don't want to be Philly."
Alix then turned the controversial topics back on the Jonas Brothers, asking the "important question" of whether they say Taylor Ham or Pork Roll when talking about the regional cuisine before she realized that because the JoBros are from North Jersey, they call it Taylor Ham when she says the opposite.
"It depends person to person, but I think you guys are really brutal about the Taylor Ham and Pork Roll," she said.
However, Joe was on her side, revealing he started saying Pork Roll but Kevin hilariously jumped in to joke, "That's not how you were raised."
Hosted by the Jonas Brothers, Hey Jonas! gives fans the chance to listen to Kevin, Joe and Nick like never before as they have candid and playfully chaotic conversations with each other and even answer fan questions.
