Olivia Rodrigo is feeling so festive this holiday season that she is releasing her very first Christmas song.
On Monday (November 2), the "drop dead" singer, 23, announced on Instagram that she is dropping her new song "take me home (4 christmas)" this week, pairing the news with two photos of her sitting on a blue carpet wearing a red and white outfit, black leather jacket and Santa hat.
"my first Christmas song 'take me home (4 christmas)' is out this Thursday at 5 pm pt/ 8 pm ET!!" she wrote, adding, "i'm so excited!!! 🎅🏼❤️"
Rodrigo also shared a teaser on Tuesday previewing the music video for the festive track, a 40-second clip featuring Sex and the City star Cynthia Nixon and Saturday Night Live cast member Ben Marshall, among others, playing a Heads Up-style game surrounded by holiday decorations.
The track will be Rodrigo's first new music since dropping her third studio album you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love in June. She previously updated one of the songs on the record when she teamed up with pal and fellow pop star Chappell Roan last month for a remix of her song "expectations."
"take me home (4 christmas)" drops November 5.
